In addition to our four Service Centers, CAEC has four other authorized payment centers located at:
Whitney Bank - Main Street, Prattville
Whitney Bank - Corner of McQueen Smith and Cobbs Ford Road, Prattville
Maplesville Supermarket in Maplesville
Cooperative Propane in Tallassee
Additional payment options, however, offer even more convenience: Bank Draft, Online, E-Bill, by Phone and Levelized.
Bank Draft
With bank draft, your bill is automatically deducted from your checking account. It is the most convenient payment method we offer, and you never have to worry about being late with a payment.
You receive a bill as you normally would, and the amount is deducted from your bank account on the due date shown on your bill. If you have questions concerning your bill, you can call the office at (800) 545-5735 prior to the withdrawal. If you have questions or you would like to sign up for CAEC's bank draft program, give us a call.
To make sure your payments are drafted accurately, follow these tips when setting up your bank draft payments.
Online
Click here to pay your bill online with an E-Check or Debit/Credit card, or if you'd like to have your debit/credit card automatically drafted each month, call us at (800) 545-5735 or locally at (334) 365-6762 and ask the Customer Service Representative to set up your account for automatic debit/credit card draft. It's an easy way to make sure your bill gets paid without having to think about it because the due date on your bill is the same date that the transaction is made on your debit/credit card.
E-Bill
Another convenient payment option for CAEC members is e-bill. Instead of receiving a paper bill, we will send your bill by e-mail at the same time of the month as you presently receive your bill. You can click a link on the e-bill to pay on-line. Please complete the form below, and we will begin sending your bill by e-mail. If you are interested in other options that make e-billing even more convenient, such as automatic checking account draft and levelized billing, be sure to check the boxes.
You can sign up for e-billing for more than one account as long as all bills are e-mailed to the same address. If you have more than three accounts that you want to switch to e-billing, please call the office or complete multiple forms.
You may call us at (800) 545-5735 for additional information.
By Phone
CAEC now gives you the option to pay by telephone anytime – even without the assistance of a Customer Service Representative. Easy-to-follow instructions guide you through the process. Simply have your CAEC member account number available as well as your credit/debit card information when you dial 1-800-545-5735 or locally at (334) 365-6762. Once the greeting message begins, you may press 2 for the Bill Payment option.
Prepay
CAEC members who are looking for another way to manage and pay for electricity usage will soon have a new option—prepay. Prepay is just what it sounds like. As a CAEC Member, you can have the opportunity to pay for electricity prior to its consumption.
The prepay program provides a great deal of flexibility. New members can have the option to sign up for Prepay instead of having to pay a deposit, while existing members can use Prepay to efficiently manage energy consumption. Prepay participants can make payments at any of CAEC’s service centers, by phone or through the Web. Payments are automatically applied, and notifications for daily balances and low balances can be sent a number of ways—through a phone call, text message or e-mail—at the time of day or night that you choose.
Participants can check their prepay account balance—24 hours a day, seven days a week— via Web. If you’re interested in CAEC’s prepay service or have further questions, call us at (800) 545-5735 or send us an

Levelized Billing
Want to make your electric bill fit your monthly budget? CAEC's levelized billing program prevents drastic changes in your bill, even in the coldest or hottest months of the year.
There are no surprises with levelized billing. A levelized bill is based on the average usage for 12 months so the levelized amount will change slightly each month. If CAEC has been providing electricity to your home for at least six months, you are eligible to participate in levelized billing.
Other options, such as bank draft or e-bill, can also be combined with levelized billing. For more information, call us at (800) 545-5735.
