The second Friday of each August, CAEC hosts its Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Day featuring entertainment, food, door prizes, children's activities, a brief business meeting and voting for our Board of Trustees. Members also voted for Trustees by mail for the first time in 2006 and the revision of the co-op's Bylaws. Members approved a change in the cooperative's bylaws in 2005 to allow mail voting.

Annual Meeting also features a expositions with exhibits from a variety of community agencies and health organizations as well as energy efficiency booths offering information to members on ways to use less energy.
